INES AND ISMA'IL, A LOVE JOURNEY

OUR
history
Maison Akène was born from the story of a couple, Inès Guerre-Genton Rodriguez and Isma'il Guerre-Genton, and from a deliberate choice: to return to the essentials.
After eight years at the helm of their Empreinte restaurant in Lambersart, they are moving to Ardres to open a new place, conceived as a culinary interlude guided by nature and plants, where every detail counts.
Trained at the Paul Bocuse Institute, Isma'il refined his cuisine in prestigious establishments, notably alongside Michel Bras (3*), Emmanuel Renaut (3*), Christian Têtedoie (1*) and Julien Gatillon (1*).
Originally from Campagne-lès-Guînes, a few minutes from Ardres, his move here is also a return to his roots.
For her part, Inès built her career through travel and experiences in the hotel industry, from the Park Hyatt (Washington DC) to the Four Seasons (Cyprus), via the Ritz (Madrid) and the Radisson Blu (Les Arcs 1950), before meeting Isma'il in Megève, at Emmanuel Renaut's.
Together, they envision Maison Akène as a warm and welcoming home, driven by attention to detail, where cuisine, service and hospitality tell the same story.
